Mission
The Community Ethics mission is to empower responsible business in the city of Leeds, UK.
What Community Ethics Does
We run a community development blog which not only tells you more about the work Community Ethics does, but also discusses important community development topics and how you can help affect change in your local community.
However Community Ethics doesn’t want to be labelled an organisation for “slacktivism”.
Community Ethics wants to become the network which finally brings social change that has been promised for so long by governments, charitable organisations and other philanthropic foundations.
No excuses. No delays. It’s time to take action, now!

Our Business Values
As an organisation dedicated to empowering responsible business practices, we value:
- Honesty (Why Honesty?)
- Accountability
- Creative Thinking (Why Creative Thinking?)
- Determination (Why Determination?)
- Inspiration (Why Inspiration?)
- Education
- Freedom
- Self Belief (Why Self Belief?)
Without these business values in place, we can’t create a world in which businesses and corporations alike are truly making a difference on an internal and external basis.
We believe that every employee, customer and shareholder should be looking to make a change for the better.
In order to make this a reality, we need all companies to be more socially responsible and think less about the short-term financial results.
Our Business Goals
- To be recognized as the market leader in delivering information about community development by delivering high quality content that engages and inspires.
- To create a national community that promote a message of real social change, and not just empty promises by creating a network of like-minded people who are truly passionate about removing the issues of community development.
- To be able truly impact national politics by being active in providing thought leadership through written content about the politics that impact young people.
- To unite young people and help them see that their contribution is important by actively including young people at every stage of the debate throughout the online content on “Community Ethics”.
